Ok, everyone chime in. What is a good setup for a Rhino? Who makes it and how much did you pay? I liked Tura's and Strabos that we got to see at the AGW. I also liked the remote one by someone else and Vikings looked cool also. I want to put mine on the top cross bar of my roll cage and use the hole in the back for a CB antenna.

I've written at DS for several years, but have never rode up to the cabin.
My riding of choice is my XR400 but I also ride a 660 Raptor, so my question is: under the cuurent conditions what are the odds for a dirt bike vs a quad making it up to the cabin?

Here is a preliminary shirt design, I'm liking the red and black over the orange and navy, opinions??? Right now there are 25 being made, I need to get the order in by the end of the week if any body else wants one.

Gary, you should look into installing a battery isolator, which is basically a one way switch that will only allow the current from your truck to pass to the TH battery, and block the current from the TH to pass to your truck.
Without this switch, and when you connect the TH to your truck, the battery circuit will be the sum of both TH & TV.
I also wouldn't trust the trucks current/voltage gauges, as they are not accurate; I would meaure the voltage with a volt meter instead.

Thanx GLM and BTW we are going back to the dez right after Christmas and staying until New Years. If your not doing anything you should join us.
One other option Gary is to remove the TV battery supply from your trailer connector, which will isolate both TV & TH batteries.
Most all new TV have a 7-pin, which unlike a 9-pin does not have the battery supply for probably liability reasons.

Hi Dave, We're still on the fence on this because Lisa has to work Wednesday - Friday but my son and I have the time off, and we've never been to OW or any of that area, so it would be a good time to venture out that far versus a weekend trip, which will be a lot of time spent on driving back to Ventura.
Lisa is willing to drive down on Friday by herself, so we'll see as time progresses.
I just wanted to give you a heads-up in advance.

I dont know of any trails that let us ride to randsburg from DS, does anyone know?
Here's a map. Never tried that ride before. Looks like a big day. I'd love to try it some time though.
